Do you love shrimps? What if they are grilled ones? This is obviously a treat for you, isn’t it? So, let’s give you a wonderful recipe for making the grilled shrimps. This recipe involves butter as the main ingredient to compliment the taste of the shrimps. We know that by now, your stomach would actually be craving for these shrimps. So, let’s with it now.
The following recipe can serve four people; obviously, if they are not a big fan of shrimps. But if they are, it would be better if you’ll increase the quantity of these ingredients.
16 shrimps (shelled and deveined)
4 tablespoon butter (unsalted)
½ cup red onion 9chopped)
1 teaspoon red pepper (crushed)
1 teaspoon Malaysian shrimp paste
Salt To taste
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon black pepper
Mint leaves for garnish
1.In order to make the grilled Shrimp with butter, you’ll have to follow the following steps:
2.Take a frying pan and melt two tablespoons of butter in it.
3.Add onion and cook them till they get softened.
Note: it would require around 3 minutes.
4.Now add the crushed red pepper and Malaysian shrimp paste in the pan.
Note: you’ll have to cook it for 2 minutes.
5.Once you’ll smell the fragrance from it, add the lime juice, salt, and remaining butter in it.
6.Meanwhile, preheat the grill. Place a non stick grill mat on the grate to prevent from sticking, keep grill clean and keep shrimps from fall through the grate.
7.Season the shrimps with salt and black pepper and transfer them on the non stick grill mat.
Note: keep the flame of the grill medium high when putting shrimps on it.
8.Note: Don’t turn them more than once. You’ll see the change in the color to know it is done. Approximately, it will take around 5 minutes. So, 2-3 minutes on each side will do the trick.
9.Plate them on the platter and pour the shrimp butter prepared in the frying pan on the top of it. Make sure the butter is still warm when you use it as the topping.
10.Note: you can make the topping ahead of time and just heat it slowly before serving, it would be totally fantastic.
You can eat them without any special serving; the topping of butter would ensure proper taste for you.
