BBQ Recipe: Grilled Oysters with Butter

Oysters can give you a mixed taste from saltish to sweetish touch. You would probably have tasted them before if you are trying to spend your time in grilling them. We are sure you are going to love the grilled impact that your oysters are going to get through this recipe. Another cherishing part of this recipe is that you will get a chance to couple it with butter sauce. Let’s get started with this recipe.

Ingredients:

The following ingredients of this recipe are enough to serve four individuals.
¼ teaspoon fennel seeds
¼ teaspoon red pepper (crushed)
5 tablespoon butter (unsalted)
¼ cup sage leaves
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon oregano (dried)
Salt to taste
Eight medium-sized oysters (scrubbed)

Directions:

Here are the directions to get your grilled oysters ready:
1.Take a frying pan, toast fennel seeds, and crushed pepper in it.
Note: keep the heat moderate.
2.When you start smelling the fragrance removes it from the stove and grind these spices into the powder form.
3.Now take half of the butter and start heating it, you’ll have to heat it until it gets brown.
4.When it starts getting brown, add half of the sage in it and cook.
Note: turn it only once until it turns crispy. It will take two minutes in total. So, you can turn it after one minute
5.Now transfer the sage onto a plate. Make sure it doesn’t break.
6.The browned butter should be poured into the bowl in which you stored the grounded spices.
7.Repeat the entire procedure with the remaining butter and sage.
8.Once the procedure with butter and sage is repeated, the first batch of the sage and butter would have cooled down. So crush these leaves as well. Put these crushed leave in the butter and spices mixture that has already been created. Make sure to keep this butter mixture warm. 

9.Meanwhile, heat the grill. And place a piece of grill cooking mat on the grate to prevent from sticking and keep from falling through.


10.Put the oysters on it. Put the flat side up.

Note: keep the flame of the grill high until the oysters open. It will take 1-2 minutes in this process. 


11.Now discard the top shell of the oyster.
12.Set up the plate with rock salt on it. 
13.After discarding the top shell, place the oysters on the rock salt. 
Note: be extremely careful about the liquor of the oysters.
14.Now put the warm butter on the oysters and decorate them with a large leaf.

Serving:

Salads and other grilled items can serve as the best complimentary serving options with grilled oysters. You can go for pineapple salad or Russian salad.

Additionally, you can couple this oyster dish with baked potatoes as well to make it a complete meal option.
