Grilled Lobster Smothered in Basil Butter

Each lobster for an individual; the following quantity of ingredients serve 4 individuals.
1 pound butter (unsalted)
½ cup basil chiffonade
4 whole lobsters
2 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper according to taste
1.Mix butter, basil, olive oil, salt, and black pepper in the food processor to make a proper mixture.
Note: It won’t take much of your time. You can have it done in 2-3 minutes depending upon your food processor.
2.Once the mixture is made. You need to put it in a bowl, cover it with plastic and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Note: 30 minutes is the minimum time. You can increase it to 2 hours.
3.Cut the meat of the lobster in half, lengthwise. Don’t cut the shells. This will leave the two parts of the lobster slightly connected.
4.Now pull off the legs and claws of the lobster. You might need a knife to crack it.
5.Make sure to preheat the grill for even distribution of heat across the grill. Place a piece of grill cooking mat on the grate to prevent from sticking and food from falling through.
6.Once done, place the legs and claws on the grill with mediocre heat. You’ll need to cook each side for 5-7 minutes to cook them perfectly.
Note: You can see the changing color of the claws and legs as well to determine the cooking time.
7.Now, it is time to cook the body of the lobster. You need to put some oil on the flesh using a brush. Put some salt and pepper on it and put it on the grill with the flesh side downwards.
Note: 8-10 minutes of grilling is optimal. However, you can have a better idea about the exact timing, seeing the changing color.
8.It is ready to serve.
9.Take out the basil butter from the refrigerator and serve it with the lobster and your dish is ready.
