How to Grill Red Snapper

Do you want to eat something different? Have you ever tried blackened red snapper? No? It is a wonderful dish that would leave your taste buds craving for more. Want to know the recipe? Here we are sharing it with you. Prepare the blackened red snapper and expect your friends and family members praising you for it. 

Serving: 4

Ingredients:
The following ingredients in the given quantities would be able to serve four people. 
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon pepper (black)
2 tablespoon lemon juice
5 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon parsley (powdered or minced)
2 red snapper (in fillet form; halved)

Salt To taste


Directions:
1.You need to mix paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, and pepper together in a bowl. 
Note: make sure to mix them together in a dry bowl. It would be easier for you to sprinkle them on red snapper
2.In the next step, you need to sprinkle this mixture on each side of the red snapper fillet.
Note: let, the fillet marinate for some time to let the powder enter into the fish. Leaving it for a few hours would enhance the overall taste. 2-3 hours marination is a must.
3.Put the grill on the stove for heating.
Note: Heat the grill on high flame to distribute the heat evenly.
4.While the grill is being heated, put the lemon juice in a bowl and heat it as well. 
5.When the lemon juice is properly heated, remove it from flame and mix butter. Make a smooth batter from both these ingredients.
6.With this mixture ready and grill preheated, you must be ready for placing the fish fillet on the grill. But before placing the fish on the grill, make sure to oil it properly. It is strongly suggested to use BBQ grill mat, which can prevent from sticking and keep grill grate clean. It will help in the creation of a smooth surface, and the fish fillet won’t stick to it.
7.Each side would require around 5-6 minutes to cook. You must wait for one side to be properly done before changing the side. 
Note: You’ll get to know the perfect color and cook time of the red snapper when the seasoning would change its color. You need to make it blackish red in appearance.
8.Once done, remove the fish from the grill and put it in a platter.
9.In the mixture of lemon and butter, add parsley. 
10.After removing the fish from the grill, immediately pour this mixture on each of the fillets.
11.Your dish is ready to serve.
Serving:
1.In order to serve this amazing dish, you can grill some vegetables as well. the combination of grilled fish and grilled vegetables go hand in hand.
2.If you need the seasoning to be spicier, you can increase the quantity of black pepper or add red chili flakes along with black pepper.
3.Another important element in making perfect blackened red snapper is the freshness of the fish. Make sure that the fish you are using is fresh.
4.In case, red snapper is unavailable. You can also try this recipe with any other fish available.
